Abstract
Cahit Zarifoğlu (1940-1987) 20. yüzyıl Türk şiirinin güzide şairlerindendir. İşaret Çocukları (1967), Yedi Güzel Adam (1973), Menziller (1977), Korku ve Yakarış (1985) başlıkları altında yayımladığı dört şiir kitabıyla modern şiirimizin başarılı örneklerine imza atmıştır. Özellikle ilk şiirlerinde İkinci Yeni şairlerinin izleri görülse de zaman içerisinde oluşturduğu kendisine has şiir anlayışı ve üslubu ile hem dönemindeki hem de kendisinden sonra gelen şairleri etkilemiştir. Cahit Zarifoğlu, müstesna ve güçlü ifade tarzıyla çocuk edebiyatı alanında da kalem oynatmıştır. Şairin, çocukların sevinçlerine, aile bireylerine karşı duydukları sevgi ve güvene, üzüntülerine, korkularına, modern aile düzeninde baş gösteren yalnızlıklarına, geleceğe dair endişelerine, savaş ve göç gibi toplumsal sorunlardaki mağduriyetlerine yer veren şiirleri vardır. Bu şiirlerinde çocuk psikolojisini ve duyarlıklarını sade bir dille yansıtmıştır. Cahit Zarifoğlu’nun çocuklar için yazdığı şiirler, ölümünden sonra iki kitap halinde yayımlanmıştır. Bunlardan ilki 1989 yılı Haziran ayında okuyucuyla buluşan Gülücük, ikincisi ise aynı yılın Ekim ayında ilk basımı yapılan Ağaç Okul adlı kitaplardır. Çalışmamızda bu eserlerdeki şiirler incelenerek, Cahit Zarifoğlu’nun çocuk dünyasına yaklaşımı ile ilgili bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır.

Abstract
Cahit Zarifoglu (1940-1987) is one of the eminent poets of the 20th Century. He put his signature of our modern poetry under important successes in four of his published books of poems as in Children of Signs (1967), Seven Pretty Men (1973), Ranges (1977), Fear and Entreaty (1985). Even if the impressions of the Second New poets are noticed especially in his first poems, the poetic intellect and tone that he had created in time effected both the poets of his period and and the poets who came after him. Cahit Zarifoglu, with his exceptional and strong expressional manner also wrote on children’s literature. The poet has comments on matters like children’s happiness, love and reliance that they feel to other members of the family, griefs, fears, isolations that come up in the modern family order, anxieties about future, the victimhood that occur in social disorders like war and migration. In this works he reflects children’s psychology and sensitivity in a very simple language. Cahit Zarifoglu’s poems which he wrote for children was published as a book in two volumes after his death. First of them was Smile reunited with the readers in June of 1989, second is the Wood School which first edition was published in October of the same year. In this paper Cahit Zarifoglu’s approach, by analyzing the poems in these works related to children’s world, will be evaluated.
