Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında yer alan tarihî mekânlar ile ilgili ögeleri ortaya koymaya çalışmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 4., 5., 6. ve 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler ders kitapları incelenmiş ve tarihî mekânlar ile ilgili ögeler tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veriler doküman incelemesi yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ise içerik çözümlemesi ile analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarına göre, sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarında tarihî mekânlar ile ilgili ögelere yeterince yer verildiği görülmüştür. Bunun yanı sıra bulunan ögelerin büyük bir çoğunluğunu fotoğraflar oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca hemen hemen bütün öğrenme alanlarında tarihî mekânlar ile ilgili ögelere yer verilmiştir. Yalnızca “Gruplar, Kurumlar ve Sosyal Örgütler” öğrenme alanında yer verilmemiştir. Ögelerin sınıflara göre dağılımında en fazla öge 7. sınıfta, öğrenme alanlarına göre dağılımında ise en fazla öge “Kültür ve Miras” öğrenme alanında bulunmaktadır. Toplamda ise 87 öge bulunmaktadır.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to try to reveal the items related to the historical places in social studies textbooks. For this purpose, the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th class social studies textbooks were examined and the items related to the historical places were determined. The screening model was used in the study. The data were obtained by a document review method. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis. According to the results of the study, it has been seen that social studies textbooks contain enough items about historical places. Besides this, a large majority of items are photographs. In addition, the items related to historical places were included in almost all learning areas. Only "Groups, Institutions and Social Organizations" were not included in the learning area. There are most items in the 7th grade for the distribution of items according to the classes and there are most items in the "Culture and Heritage" learning area for the distribution of items according to learning areas. In total there are 87 items.
