Abstract
Araştırmada ilkokul öğrencilerini uygulamalı trafik eğitimine yönelik algılarını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma grubunu Yeniçağa'da eğitim öğretim gören 50 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre öğrencilerin tamamı uygulamalı trafik eğitimini beğenmiştir. Öğrencilerin kırmızı ışıkta durma, sarı ışıkta hazırlanma, yeşil ışıkta geçme, emniyet kemerini takmalıyız, yaya geçitlerinde yavaşlamalı yayalara yol verme, alt ve üst geçitleri güvenli geçişler için kullanma, hız sınırlarına uyma, karşıdan karşıya geçerken sola sağa bakarak geçme, trafik işaret levhalarını öğrenme, yayalara saygılı davranmak gibi trafik kurallarını öğrendikleri bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin % 96'sı trafik kurallarını öğrendikten sonra öğrendiklerinin uygulamalı trafik eğitimi sonrası kalıcı olduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Uygulamalı trafik eğitimine katılan öğrencilerin tamamı bu eğitimlerin devam etmesini istemişlerdir.Bu kapsamda trafik eğitimlerini ilkokul düzeyinde uygulamalı eğitimlere yer verilerek uygulanması önem arz etmektedir.

Abstract
Elementary school students in the study was aimed to determine the perception of practical traffic education. 50 students receiving education in Yeniçağa constitute the study group. Data were collected using a structured interview form. According to the findings of the research students are like all the practical traffic education.
