Abstract
Ak Parti’nin günümüz siyasetinde ve iktidar mücadelesinde etkinliği ve gücü göz önüne alındığında partinin kurucu kadrosunun Milli görüş geleneğinden gelmesi hasebiyle Ak Parti ile Milli Görüş arasında ne gibi farklılıklar bulunduğu sorusu gündeme gelmektedir. Bu incelemede ilk görülen husus Ak Parti’nin Milli Görüş geleneği içinde kurulan partilerin savı olan Adil Düzen temasını kullanmamasıdır. Ayrıca laikliğe bakış anlamında her iki yaklaşım arasında bazı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır. Ancak aslında Ak Parti kuruluşundan önce Milli Görüş geleneğinin son partisi olan Fazilet Partisi’yle beraber Milli Görüş hareketinde de laikliğe bakış açılarının biraz daha esnediği görülmüştür. Üzerinde hassasiyetle durulması gereken bir diğer önemli husus da Ak Parti’nin kuruluşu esnasında Merkez sağda siyasi boşluğu doldurma amacıyla geniş kitlelere kapının açıldığı, hâlbuki Milli Görüş geleneğinde partilerde bu yönde biraz kıpırdanma olsa da tam olarak merkez sağdaki boşluğu doldurabilecek düzeye gelmedikleri görülmüştür. Yine AB’ye bakış konusunda da iki kesim arasında önemli derecede görüş farklılığı mevcuttur. Ayrıca Batıyla ilişkiler konusunda da her iki tarafın farklı politikalar benimsediği görülmektedir.

Abstract
When considering the power or the dominance of Justice And Development Party(JDP) today in Turkish political life and the fact that the founding elite has come from National view tradition the question of what kind of differences have been seen between JDP and National View comes to the fore. The first finding in this study has been that the JDP has not used the theme of “Fair Order” that was the thesis of the National View’s parties. Additionally there are some differences between two approaches within the context of the laicism. However the stretching in this ıssue has always started in National View parties with Virtue Party that was the last party of the National View parties before the founding of JDP. Another important issue that requires attention is that during the founding of JDP the party has opened its doors to the large masses with the aim of filling the political gap in the central right, however the National View parties could not have truly reached to the level to fill the gap in the central right. Again there is significantly difference of opinion in approach about the European Union. Besides it has been seen that the both parts have adopted different policies about the relations with the West.
