Abstract

Bu çalışmada bugün Makedonya Cumhuriyeti’nin güneydoğu sınırına yakın mesafede bir merkez konumunda bulunan Kırçova’nın, on altıncı yüzyılda köyleri ve bu köylerin nüfus dağılımı ile üretim yapısı incelenecektir. Osmanlı köy toplumuna dair monografik çalışmalar yapılmış ise de, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nda köylerin nüfus hareketlerinin nasıl bir ortamda hangi kriterlere göre oluştuğu ve bu hareketliliğin kaynağını meydana getiren insan kütlelerinin farklılığı nasıl bir manzara ortaya koyduğu bilinmemektedir. Öncelikle Kırçova Kazası köylerinde üretilen çeşitli tarım ürünlerinin dağılımı, araç ve teknikler, sulama, verimlilik ve hasat miktarına değinilerek temel ihtiyaç maddelerinin üretilmesi ele alınacaktır. Köylerin dâhili yapıları, nüfus artışı ve düşüş sebepleri ve tabi olarak çiftçilerin ödedikleri vergiler, kırsal hayatın belirgin özellikleridir. Abstract

In this study, in the XVI. centurythe villages of Kırçova which are located near the border of Macedonian Republic’s southeastern region, distribution of the population of these villages and the production structure will be studied. Even though there are monographic studies about Ottoman village societies, in what kind of a situation and according to which criteria the population activities of the villages are formed and the variation of human masses forming the source of this mobility are not known. Firstly, distribution of the various harvests produced in Kırçova county villages, tools and techniques, irrigation, productivity and the amount of the harvest are mentioned.
