Abstract
Her toplum, sosyal ve ailevi hayatı düzenlemek için bir takım kurallara sahiptir. Bu kurallar ortaya çıktığı toplum için belli fonksiyonları üstlenmekte ve önemli bir misyon icra etmektedir. İlksel toplumların yaşamı yeniden değerlendirildiğinde yakın akrabalar arasında cinsel ilişkiyi önleme amacı taşıyan ensest yasağı ailevî ilişkilerin sınırlarının belirlenmesinde etkili olmuştur. Aynı zamanda ensest yasağının etrafında pek çok yasağın geliştiğine şahit olunmaktadır. Bu anlamda ensest yasağı insanlık tarihinin ilksel ve öncü yasaklarından biri olup pek çok yasağın çekirdeğini oluşturduğu ifade edilebilir. İnsanlık ailesinin gelişim seyri içinde bu yasakların türev yasaklar olarak dinî yasaklara evrildiği ve ilahi emirlerin, beşerî tecrübeyle ortaya çıkmış yasakları geliştirerek bireyin yaşamına dâhil ettiği anlaşılmaktadır. Abstract
Every society has some rules to regulate social and familial life. These rules undertake specific functions for the society where they occur, and carry out a significant mission. When the life of primary societies is re-evaluated, the prohibition of incest, which aims to prevent sexual intercourse between close relatives, had influence in determination of limits of familial relations. At the same time, it is witnessed that many prohibitions developed in around the prohibition of incest. In this sense, it can be expressed that the prohibition of incest is one of the primary and pioneering prohibitions of the history of mankind, and constitutes the core of many prohibitions.
