Abstract
Türklerin İslamiyet’i kabulüyle birlikte 13. yüzyılda Türk edebiyatı, Arap ve Fars edebiyatlarının tesiri altına girmiş; şekil, muhteva ve estetik açıdan belirli ve değişmez kaideleri kabul etmiştir. 19. yüzyıla gelindiğinde siyasî ve sosyal alanda meydana gelen yenilikler, toplum hayatında değişikliğe zemin hazırladığı gibi, edebiyatın şekil ve muhtevasında da değişikliği zaruri kılmıştır. Bu değişim, beraberinde eski şiir zevkini ve biçimini tartışmanın konusu yapmış, yeni bir edebî anlayışı ortaya çıkarmıştır. Tanzimat edebiyatıyla birlikte başlayan eski edebiyatın kurallarını değiştirme çalışmaları Servet-i Fünûn döneminde de devam eder. Bu dönemde eski şiirle ilgili tartışmanın temelinde yatan esas mesele; zevk ve üslup problemidir. Batı medeniyetiyle ortaya çıkan yeni insan tipinin eski şiiri kabullenmesi beklenemezdi. Abstract
With Turks adopting Islam, the Turkish literature has been under the influence of Arabic and Persian literature in 13th century; it has accepted specific and unchangeable principles with regards to shape, content and aesthetics. As the reform that occurred in political and social field, in 19th century formed basis for the change in the community life, it has made it compulsory to make change in the form and content of the literature. This change has made the old poem pleasure of poem the subject of the discussion, has revealed a new literary understanding. Efforts to change the rules of the old literature with the Tanzimat Literature continue in the Wealth of sciences era too. In this era, on the basis of the discussion related to the old poem, what really matters is pleasure and genre. The new type of man isn’t supposed to accept the old poem who appeared with western civilization. Fikret, who is a representative of a new ideology, becomes prominent with enabling a different spirit
