Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, İstanbul’da ulaşım sorunu ve metrobüs çözümü konusunun incelenmesidir. İstanbul’da ulaşım sorunu ve metrobüs sisteminin incelenmesi ve İstanbul metrobüs sisteminin çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal etkilerinin araştırılmasıdır. Özellikle 20.yy itibariyle plansız bir şekilde büyüyen ve sürekli göç alan İstanbul’ da yıllara göre nüfusun ne derece arttığı istatistikî bilgiler ile verilmiş ve nüfus artışı ile birlikte ortaya çıkan ulaşım problemleri değerlendirilmiştir. Kara taşımacılığı incelenerek, ulaşım problemini çözmek için yürürlüğe konan metrobüs sistemi detaylı bir şekilde araştırılmıştır. Metrobüs sisteminin kara ulaşımına kazandırdığı noktaların yanı sıra yetersizlikleri üzerine de incelemeler yapılmış ve örnekler ile açıklanmıştır. Metrobüs sisteminin geliştirilmesi adına çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.

Abstract
The purpose of this study, is to look into transportation problems in Istanbul and to examine the issues involved with the Metrobus. Examination of the transportation problem and Metrobus system in Istanbul and Istanbul environmental Metrobus system is to investigate the economic and social impact. Especially the 20th century as an unplanned manner and constantly growing migration in Istanbul year with statistical information given to what degree the population increased and evaluated according to the transport problems associated with population growth. Road transport examining, The Metrobus system put in place to solve the transportation problem has been investigated in detail. The point where the gain on the land transport of the Metrobus system as well as the lack of investigations are made and explained with examples. On behalf of the development of the Metrobus system, the outcome is presented
