Halkevleri; Dil, Edebiyat ve Tarih Şubesi, Güzel Sanatlar Şubesi, Temsil Şubesi, Halk Dershaneleri ve Kurslar Şubesi, Kütüphane ve Yayın Şubesi, Müze ve Sergi Şubesi, Spor Şubesi, Sosyal Yardım Şubesi, Köycülük Şubesi’nden oluşmaktadır. Halkevleri, Türk halkının siyasal, sosyal ve kültürel açıdan bilgi ve deneyime sahip olmasını sağlayarak Atatürk İlke ve İnkılâplarının halka benimsetilmesine büyük katkı sağlamıştır.
