Abstract
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı buluş yoluyla öğretim yaklaşımının öğrenci başarısına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın bu temel amacına ulaşması için öğrencilerin mezun olduğu bölümün, cinsiyetinin ve mezuniyet tarihinin başarıya etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmada öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere sunuş yoluyla öğretim, deney grubundaki öğrencilere ise buluş yoluyla öğretim uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2014 yılında Karatekin Üniversitesi Pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sertifika programına katılan edebiyat ve matematik bölümü öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verilerini toplamak amacıyla çoktan seçmeli 40 sorudan oluşan öntest ve sontest hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre, edebiyat bölümü öğrencilerinde buluş yoluyla öğretim, matematik bölümü öğrencilerinde ise sunuş yoluyla öğretim etkili olmuştur. Abstract
The main aim of this research is to determine the effect of teaching approaches on student success through discovery. To achieve the main aim of this research, the effect of graduate students’ departmant, genders, date of the graduate on success were investigated. In research, the pretest-protest with control group, experimental design model was used. While Instruction through presentation is applied to control group, through discovery is applied to experimental group. Working group of the research consists of the students in departmant of literature and mathematics, who participated in the certificate program of Karatekin University Pedagogical Education in 2014. The study was designed to collect data consisting of multiple-choice questions 40 pretest and posttest scores.
