Abstract
Psikoloji bilimi tarihi gelişim süreci içinde antik dönemlerden itibaren konusu insan olan her bilim dalı tarafından incelenmiş, merak konusu olmuş ve gündeme gelmiştir. İnsanın ruhsal yapısının ne olduğu? Sınırlarının nerede başlayıp nerede bittiği ve psikolojik etkileri daima araştırma konusu olmuş ve bu ilgi hiç azalmamıştır. Psikolojinin tarihi süreci içinde gelişmeler özellikle son yüz yıla atfen olduğu kabul edilse de yaygın kanının aksine bu evrenin daha uzun ve eski bir gelişimsel geçmişe sahip olduğu bir gerçekliktir. Antik çağlardan günümüze kadar insanın olduğu her yerde psikolojik sorunlar gündeme gelmiş ve bu sorunların çözümü için çaba gösterilmiştir. Bu çabaları yoğun olarak görüldüğü dönemlerden biri de Türk İslam hekimlerinin çalışmalarıdır. Bu makalede bu dönem içinde psikolojik sorunlara bilimsel olarak yaklaşım yöntemleri ele alınıp döneminin en son yenilikleri içinde psikolojik tedavi yöntemleri incelenecektir.
