YAŞANAN COĞRAFYANIN RESİM DİLİNE ETKİSİ: RESSAM HAYDAR DURMUŞ’UN SANAT ANLAYIŞI VE METAFORİK İFADE BİÇİMLERİ

Abstract
Sanatçı, gerçekleştirmek istediği konu ile ilgili uygun tasarımları hazırlayarak en etkili biçimde ortaya koymaya çalışır. Bu uğraşlar başka akımlar, toplumlar ve sanatçılarda farklı özellikler gösterirken, kişinin yorumlaması, algılamasıyla beraber bulunduğu zamanla da doğrudan ilişkilidir. Sanatçı, ürettiği yapıtların izleyici ve toplum nezdinde takdir görmesini istemekte; bu takdir duygusu ise onu daha nitelikli eserler ortaya koyma yönünde motive etmektedir. Tarihsel süreçte olduğu gibi günümüzde de sanatçılar, eserlerini öznel ifade biçimlerini ortaya koymanın bir aracı olarak değerlendirmekte ve bu doğrultuda üretimlerini sürdürmektedir. Sanatçılar günümüzde geçmişe göre daha bireysel bir tarza yönelmişlerdir. Bu araştırmada Trabzon’ da yaşamını sürdüren sanatçı Haydar Durmuş’un eserleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum çalışması yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri yapılandırılmış görüşme sorularıyla birlikte elde edilmiştir. Sanatçı ile yapılan görüşme formu sanatçının özgeçmişinden faydalanılarak ve literatür taraması yapılarak hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, sanatçının eserlerine, sanatsal yaşamına, eğitimci tarafına ve sanatsal bakış açısına ilişkin olarak hazırlanan 20 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Literatür taraması ve araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan açık uçlu yarı yapılandırılmış sorulara sanatçının verdiği yanıtlar ile elde edilen veriler sonucunda betimsel analiz ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda Haydar Durmuş’un eserlerinde, görsel sanat elemanları aracılığıyla oluşturulan kompozisyonların, lekesel fırça vuruşları ve renk düzenlemeleri yoluyla ahenk ve ritim içerisinde yaşadığı coğrafyaya göndermede bulunduğunu ifade etmek mümkündür. Sanatçının üretimleri, bireysel deneyim, coğrafi bellek ve estetik formun bütünleştiği özgün bir sanat pratiği olarak değerlendirilebilir.

Abstract
The artist seeks to present the subject he wishes to address in the most effective manner by preparing suitable designs. While these efforts display different characteristics across various movements, societies, and artists, they are directly related to the individual's interpretation, perception, and the era in which they live. The artist seeks for their works to be appreciated by the audience and society, and this sense of recognition serves as a motivating force driving them to produce higher-quality creations. As in the historical process, contemporary artists also regard their works as a means of expressing their subjective perspectives and continue their creative practices accordingly. Today, artists tend to adopt a more individualistic style compared to the past. In this study, the works of the artist Haydar Durmuş, who resides in Trabzon, were examined. The research was conducted using the case study method, one of the qualitative research approaches. The data of the study were obtained through structured interview questions. The interview form used with the artist was prepared based on his curriculum vitae and through a review of the relevant literature. The semi-structured interview form consists of 20 questions related to the artist’s works, artistic life, role as an educator, and artistic perspective. The data obtained from the artist’s responses to the literature review and the open-ended semi-structured questions developed by the researcher were interpreted through descriptive analysis. At the conclusion of the study, it is possible to state that the compositions created through visual artistic elements in Haydar Durmuş’s works refer to the geography in which he lives through painterly brushstrokes and color arrangements that embody harmony and rhythm. The artist’s productions may be regarded as an original artistic practice in which individual experience, geographical memory, and aesthetic form are integrated.
