Abstract
Yalın bir ifadeyle “özden uzaklaşma” şeklinde tanımlanabilecek olan yabancılaşma, emek, düşünce, dil, aşk, din, bilim ve sanat gibi her tür insan etkinliğinde ortaya çıkabilecek, çok yönlü bir olgudur. Puta tapıcılık, insanlığın tarihsel süreç içerisinde nesnelerle kurduğu yabancılaşmış ilişkinin en eski örneği olarak kabul edilebilir. İnsanlığın kendi yaratımı olan nesnelere benzeme tehlikesi günümüz modern sonrası tüketim toplumunun süregelen sorunlarından biridir. Araştırmanın amacı bu soruna dikkat çekmek ve çözüm önerileri sunmaktır. Yabancılaşma kavramını özne-nesne ilişkileri üzerinden işleyen, Ali Altan Yücel’in Esinti adlı kısa filmi araştırma konusu olarak seçilmiş ve Erich Fromm’un yabancılaşma kuramı bağlamında çözümlenmiştir. Nitel yaklaşımın benimsendiği bu araştırmada örnek olay incelemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre Esinti kısa filmindeki öznelerin birbirleriyle yalnızca nesneler aracılığıyla ilişki kurdukları görülmektedir. Öznelerin öznelerden ziyade nesnelere değer vermesiyle özne ve nesnelerin konumları yer değiştirmiştir. Buradan hareketle yabancılaşmış bir toplumda öznelerin birbirlerinin nesnesi olduğu varsayımında bulunulabilir.

Abstract
Alienation, which can be defined simply as “estrangement from the self”, is a multifaceted phenomenon that can occur in all kinds of human activity such as labor, thought, language, love, religion, science, and art. Idolatry can be considered as the oldest example of the alienated relationship that humanity has established with objects in the historical process. The danger of humanity becoming like the objects it has created is one of the ongoing problems of today’s post-modern consumer society. This study aims to draw attention to this problem and to offer solutions. Ali Altan Yücel’s short film Breeze, which deals with alienation through subject-object relations, was chosen as the research subject and analyzed in the context of Erich Fromm’s theory of alienation. In this qualitative research, the case study method is used. According to the research findings, the relations between the subjects in the short film Breeze are realized through objects. The positions of subjects and objects have shifted as subjects value objects rather than subjects. From this point of view, it can be assumed that subjects in an alienated society are each other’s objects.
