Abstract
Son zamanlarda bilim dünyasında ve özellikle sosyal bilimler alanında LGBTİQ+ konusu kayda değer bir araştırma konusu haline gelmiştir. Bu araştırmaların biri de LGBTİQ+ bireylerine yönelik toplumsal bakış açısını ortaya koyan tutum çalışmalarıdır. Ancak Türk kültürüne uygun Türkçe literatürde LGBTİQ+ bireylere yönelik tutumu ölçmeye yönelik herhangi bir ölçüm aracı geliştirilmemiştir. Bu nedenle LGBTİQ+ bireylere yönelik tutumu ölçmeye yarayacak bir ölçek geliştirme çalışması gerekliliği ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu araştırma, Türk toplumunun geleceğini inşa edecek ve yarınlarını şekillendirecek üniversite öğrencisi gençlerin LGBTİQ+ hakkındaki düşünce ve tutumlarını belirlemek amacına yönelik bir ölçek geliştirme çalışmasıdır. Araştırmaya Sakarya Üniversitesi İnsan ve Toplum Bilimleri Fakültesi’nde öğrenim gören 263 lisans öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde gerekli etik prosedürler takip edilmiş ve 263 lisans öğrencisine yüz yüze anket uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada on dört madde ve iki boyuttan oluşan LGBTİQ+ Tutum Ölçeği (LTÖ) geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen ölçeğin geçerliğini sınamak için Açıklayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) yapılmış ve ölçeğin varyansın %65,78’ini açıkladığı tespit edilmiş olup ölçek iki faktöre yüklenmiştir. Daha sonra yapılan Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) sonucunda elde edilen uyum indeksleri ve modifikasyon indeksleri şöyledir: [(χ2 (162,527, sd=76, p= 0.000); χ2/sd= 2.139; RMSEA= 0,066; GFI=0.918; AGFI=0.886; CFI=0.965; IFI= 0.965; NFI=0.936; RFI=0.924; RMR=0,059]. Bu bulgular, ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu ve uyum kriterlerini karşıladığını göstermektedir.

Abstract
In recent times, the subject of LGBTIQ+ has become a significant research topic in the scientific community, particularly within the field of social sciences. One area of focus has been studies on societal attitudes towards LGBTIQ+ individuals. However, it has been observed that there is a lack of measurement tools in the Turkish literature that are suitable for assessing attitudes towards LGBTIQ+ individuals within the context of Turkish culture. This gap underscores the need for developing a scale that can measure such attitudes. This research aims to develop a scale to determine the thoughts and attitudes of university students—who are the future builders of Turkish society and the shapers of tomorrow—towards LGBTIQ+. The study involved 263 undergraduate students from Sakarya University’s Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. Throughout the research process, necessary ethical procedures were followed, and a face-to-face survey was administered to the 263 undergraduate students. The study resulted in the development of the LGBTIQ+ Attitude Scale (LAS), comprising fourteen items across two dimensions. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was conducted to test the validity of the developed scale, revealing that it accounted for 65.78% of the variance and loaded onto two factors. Subsequent Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) yielded the following fit indices and modification indices: [(χ2 (162,527, sd=76, p= 0.000); χ2/sd= 2.139; RMSEA= 0,066; GFI=0.918; AGFI=0.886; CFI=0.965; IFI= 0.965; NFI=0.936; RFI=0.924; RMR=0,059]. These findings indicate that the scale is valid, reliable, and that it fulfills the fit criteria.
