Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, çalışan veya çalışmayan bir anne ile yetişmiş olan 18-30 yaş erkeklerin ev işlerinde eşlerinden beklentilerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma grubu 18-30 yaş aralığında 5 tane annesi iş hayatının içerisinde olan ve 5 tane annesi ev hanımı olan evli erkek bireyden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Görüşmede önceden hazırlanmış olan 7 soru katılımcıların 10’una araştırmacı tarafından okunmuş ve katılımcıların yanıtları alınmıştır. Görüşme yüz yüze yapılmış ve her bir görüşme yaklaşık olarak 40 dakika sürmüştür. Görüşmeden önce katılımcılara araştırmanın amacı anlatılmış ve bilgilerin üçüncü şahıslarla paylaşılmayacağı bilgisi verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre kadınların iş yaşamına girişiyle birlikte ev içerisindeki rollerin değiştiğini söylemek mümkündür. Erkeklerin eşlerinden beklentilerinin zaman içerisinde değiştiğini ve ev içerisindeki görevlerde de aktif olarak rol aldıklarını görmekteyiz. Çalışan anne ile büyümüş erkeklerin ev işleri ve çocuk bakımı gibi görevlerin genellikle ortak olarak yürütülmesi gerektiğini düşündüğünü görmekteyiz. Çalışmayan anne ile büyümüş erkeklerin ise ev işleri ve çocuk bakımı ve çocuğun yetiştirilmesi gibi görevlerde asıl sorumluluğu eşlerinin almalarını beklediklerini ancak eşlerine genellikle yardımcı rolde olduklarını görmekteyiz. Bunlara ek olarak çalışan ve çalışmayan anne ile büyümüş erkekler arasında eşlerinden bekledikleri ilgi, sevgi ve birbirlerine vakit ayırmaları konularında bir farklılık olmadığını görmekteyiz. Sonuçlar literatür ışığında tartışılmıştır.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the expectations of men aged 18-30, who grew up with a working or non-working mother, from their spouses regarding housework. The study group consists of married male individuals between the ages of 18-30, 5 whose mothers are in business life and 5 whose mothers are housewives. Semi-structured interview technique was used in this research. During the interview, 7 pre-prepared questions were read to 10 of the participants by the researcher and their answers were taken. The interview was conducted face to face and each interview lasted approximately 40 minutes. Before the interview, the purpose of the research was explained to the participants and they were informed that the information would not be shared with third parties. According to the results of the study, it is possible to say that the roles of women at home have changed with the entry into business life. We see that men's expectations from their wives change over time and that they take an active role in household duties. We see that men who grew up with working mothers generally think that tasks such as housework and childcare should be carried out jointly. We see that men who grew up with non-working mothers expect their wives to take the main responsibility for tasks such as housework, childcare and raising the child, but they generally play a supporting role to their wives. In addition, we see that there is no difference between men who grew up with working and non-working mothers in terms of the attention, love and spending time they expect from their spouses. The results are discussed in the light of the literature.
