Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de Eğitim Müziği alanında yazılan lisansüstü tezleri farklı değişkenlerle ele alıp incelemektir. Verilerin toplanması amacıyla literatür taraması yapılmıştır. YÖK Tez Merkezi veri tabanında “Eğitim Müziği” anahtar kelimesiyle yapılan arama sonucunda 1987-2020 yılları arasında yazılan 27 teze ulaşılmıştır. Ancak 24 teze ulaşılıp, 3 teze ulaşılamadığından incelemeye 24 tez alınmıştır. Kriterler belirlenip, tezler incelenmiştir. Belirlenen kriterler, tezlerin hazırlandıkları üniversiteler, enstitüler, hazırlandıkları yıllar, lisansüstü düzeyler ve danışman unvanlarıdır. Bu çalışma nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmada durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Veriler doküman analizi tekniğinden yararlanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Verilere yönelik sonuçlar frekans ve yüzde olarak hesapladıktan sonra tablo haline dönüştürülmüş ve sonrasında yorumlanmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda tezlerin sadece müzik alanında hazırlandığı, yirmi dördünün (%88) yüksek lisans, üçünün (%12) doktora tezi olduğu, sayıca en fazla tezin yazıldığı üniversitelerin Gazi Üniversitesi ve Atatürk Üniversitesi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses written on Educational Music in Turkey with different variables. Literature scanning was carried out for the purpose of collecting data. As a result of the search in YÖK Thesis Center database with the keyword ‘’Educational Music’’, 27 theses written between 1987-2020 were reached. However, since 24 theses were reached and 3 theses could not be reached, 24 theses were included in the study. Criteria have been set and theses were examined. The criteria set are universities, institutes, the years in which theses are prepared, postgraduate levels and consulting titles. The study is a qualitative one. Case study pattern was used in the research. The data has been evaluated using the technique of document analysis. The results for data were converted to table after calculating in frequency and percentage and then interpreted. An assessment found that the theses were prepared only in the area of music that twenty-four ( 88%) were master’s theses, three( 12 %) were doctoral theses and the universities in which the most theses were written were Gazi University and Atatürk University.
