Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Doğu anlatı gelenekleri perspektifinden İran sinemasının kültürel arka planını sinemasal dil üzerinden irdelemektir. Bu arka plan, zihniyet, anlatı görenekleri ve sanat arasındaki ilişkilerin bileşimiyle oluşmaktadır. İran Sinemasının anlatı göreneklerini belirleyen altyapı, daha çok söze ve seyirliğe dayalı dışavurum eğilimleri taşımakta ve genel olarak da, yanılsamacı olmayan bir anlayışa dayanmaktadır. Bunda hem Doğu hem de İslam düşüncesinin görünen ve görünmeyen bir dizi etkimeleri vardır. Estetik ifade biçimi ve düşünsel dışavurum aracı olarak sinemasal bir çalışmanın değer kazanabilmesi, kültürel aidiyet taşıması ve bunu düşünce yoğunluklarını içerecek biçimde yansıtabilmesiyle mümkündür. İran sineması bu bağlamda ele alınıp değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of this work is to search the cultural background of the narrative language used in the Iranian Cinema. This background is made up of the relations in between mentality, narrative traditions and the nature of arts. The basement orients the narrative that’s been shaped by the Iran History is usually depend on oral and visual expression and usually is not illusionist. This is largely influenced by the eastern or İslamic philosophy.To earn a film value as an aesthetical and an intellectual way of expression can only be possible with it’s dependence to a culture and projecting that culture with it’s all aspects. So, it can be told that it’s an important problemtic of director’s producing films based on the basic aspects of arts and philosophy produced by this community. Iranian cinema has been considered and evaluated in this context.
