Nowadays, it is impossible for an enterprise to achieve the required results by traditional performance management tools. Instead, modern performance management tools with effective feedbacks which can evaluate the employees in most objective ways need to be preferred. Strategic management approach also requires the need for evaluating the current and future performance and efficiency of the employees. In this context, the employee profiles of SME’s that operate in metal industry and are located in Kocaeli have been studied and it is stated that the employee profile switched from blue collar to white collar due to the technological improvements. The aim of this study is to define how 360 Performance Evaluation Management tool is perceived among managers in metal industry and to see to what extend this tool answers the industrial needs and lastly, to prove that this tool will give fruitful results in metal industry employees.
