Words expressing deficiencies and imperfections in the body are also part of this vocabulary. A very rich concept area has been created in our language about the eye which one of our five senses organs. This rich concept area used in the eye has been witnessed in written sources from the Old Turkic period of the Turkic language. In the context of this article, the words related to the eye defects we detected in the rich vocabulary of Mamluk-Kipchak language will be analyzed with a comparative method and the situation of the related words in Kazakh, one of the Modern Kipchak dialects, will be evaluated.
