Abstract

After the First World War was won by the Allied Powers, there was an opportunity fort he Allied Powers, who wanted to realize their ambitions on Ottoman lands for years. The weakness of the Ottoman Empire and the lack of strength to protect its territories led to secret treaties among the Allied Powers as the First World War continued. According to these treaties, the Ottoman State was considered vulnerable and its territory was intended to be shared. With the armitice and peace treaties with the defeated states at the end of the First World War, they wanted to achieve their goals further. In particular, the harsh terms in the Mondros Armitice Aggreement signed with the Ottoman Empire clearly demonstrated their purpose. The Mondros Armitice Aggreement which was signed with the Ottoman Empire, the Ottoman State was wanted to divide and the Ottoman State was left powerless with each article. The Mondros Armitice Aggreement was discussed with its articles in this work and its historical significance was addressed.
