The study aimed to measure the role of Jordanian TV in social awareness from the viewpoint of Jordanian university students. The descriptive analytical method was used by specifying the sample size by (100) students that were drawn by (intentional intentional sample), which is what the researcher intends to represent the study population. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data from the study sample, with 100 resolutions distributed at 50 resolutions for each of the Jordanian and Petra universities and all recovered. The study found that the average exposure of Jordanian university students to Jordanian television programmes was moderate. The relationship between the role of Jordanian television in influencing the social awareness of Jordanian university students was high. The study recommended that there should be increased attention to local events of interest, and not to lag behind any local issue or event that touches on the life of the citizen in addition to working to improve the quality of these programs.
