Abstract
The borders of the Middle East consisting of some different ethnic groups, nations and beliefs are still controversial. Having oil reservoirs and important commercial regions causes the conflict of some powerful states’ interest on this area. In this context, to rule the Middle East and to control the economic management, strategies and decisions were developed and applied in both martial and political ways. Israel, as a power established and expanded by gaining place for herself by attacking Palestine and developed with USA’s support is known as a country having ideological purposes and standing there despite the majority of Arabic countries. Especially The Yinon Plan written by Oded Yinon refers to the policy of dividing and ruling the Middle East by taking the advantage of the conflicts among Arabic people and directs both Israel and the other countries that have plans on this region. This policy was improved by the following plans and the attempts on this issue increased. This article will deeply focus on The Yinon Plan’s context, its directions and the appliance of it by Israel and analyze this plan’s process and the changes in the Middle East especially with the attempts that America performed in addition to her policies.
