However it is observed that the last period Turkish authors used slang to take adventage of various possibilities of language. In this case, the slang has become more involved in the studies of language and literatüre. One of the authors of the last term is Alper Canıgüz. In his novels, Alper Canıgüz frequently refers to slang which gives more space to people in the middle and lower class. In this study, first of all, information has given about slang. Later, information was given about life of Alper Canıgüz and his literary personality. After that, slang expressions used in novels of Alper Cacıgüz were classifield. There are two classfications. In the first classification Hulki Aktunç’s environment slang classification was used. The dictionary meaning of slangs from the novels are given and the material is reinforced with example sentences from the novels. In second classifications, it doesn’t depend on any source. According to the usage form in novels, slangs are classified as qualifier slangs, noun-form slang, verb-form slangs and idiom-form slang. These two classifications are concretized with the graphs.
