Abstract

When Baroque Era is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is that many branches of art include exaggeration and flourish. This exageration is significant by using the elements like contrast, embellishments, emotional depth, dynamics and sonority in music as well as in any other art forms. The works in the baroque era varies according to the styles and conseption of the composers and the countries. For this reason there have been different usage of the symbols for the same kinds of ornamentation. Exaggerated approach in Italian style gave place to simplicity in French style. The subject of commenter’s free ornament usage in performance which is the feature of the era is mentioned in the study and authentic ornament works on a set of performances depending on the commenter are presented. This study is aimed to contribute the academician and student candidates that are interested in Baroque Era music and would like to work on the era.
