Abstract

When the first periods of today's world and humanity are compared, it is possible to see developments in commercial activities as in every field. The developments in commercial activities, combined with the developments in technological field, gained a new dimension and became a global structure. Growing markets with global commercial activities have brought up the efforts of the enterprises to find more customers, and in line with these efforts, advertising and marketing activities have been carried out on the internet. The importance of social media structures in these activities is considerable. The interactive interaction opportunities offered to individuals through social media enabled consumers to share their experiences with each other as well as providing direct communication with businesses. In this study, the effects of social media on consumer behavior were examined.
