On the other hand, it brings the negative outcomes and it makes us forget our old values, traditions expeditiously. ın the changing and developing world, today, the number of people who try to protect old values and traditions is less and because of this fact our old values and traditions disappear expeditiously. One of our old traditions that is disappearing day by day is delbek. Tradition of delbek and the women who play delbek are decreasing and this tradition which we are accustomed to see in the wedding ceremonies is forgotten. Compared to the past, delbek is nor popular tradition now and delbek was really important but now it is being forgotten tradition and the history will not mention it. When the delbek’s situation is like that, the work that aim to keep it alive is supposed to be made but the works about it are not enough. In the Shamanism tradition it was used as a religious tool by women. But now delbek is a part of wedding ceremonies or entertainments. In this study, it is mentioned that how the delbek is played and what kind of instrument it is.
