Abstract

This study was carried out in order to determine the problems faced by women who received vocational training on the continuity of employment of 403 women graduated from Amasya Vocational School between 2002-2012 years. A 5-point Likert scale was used in the questionnaire and the main components of varimax rotated were used in the factor analysis methods to determine the factor structure of the scale. Despite the fact that there are many studies and legal regulations in Turkey in order to increase the education of women and therefore their employment, they can not be said to be sufficient. In the study, it was stated that the wishes and wishes of the Vocational High School graduates were given, but the low wage proposal, the lack of proper training in the region they were in, and the lack of foreign language were problems in starting work. While working women have come to the fore in the study of economic independence, their willingness to work and their happiness to work have also been identified as an important factor in the study. The most important problem in front of women's employment is the task that is given to the woman in the family. The necessity of this role and the fact that working conditions are intertwined causes women to stay away from the labor market. The resulting data are expected to contribute to improving the working conditions of women who will receive vocational training in the future and to developing measures and policies to be shared in the family for the tasks shared by women by eliminating the economic mismanagement of women's employment.
