The aim of the study is to reveal the level of burnout in public employees. The research has been carried out by making a questionnaire on the basis of the primary data. The questionnaires have been conducted to 556 public personnel serving in the province of Kırklareli. The data of the research have been evaluated by using SPSS 20 statistical program. Reliability test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Mann-Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis test have been used in the research. The Maslach Burnout Scale used in the research has been determined to reveal significant and consistent results in the reliability analysis performed. Any cause or level of high burnout hasn’t been experienced in the public employees working in the province of Kırklareli. The causes that increase burnout can be listed as age, gender, professional title, and marital status. It is possible to say that the improvement in the level of life standards due to the increase in the level of income has significantly reduced the burnout level.
