Abstract

The aim of this survey is to determine the level of passion for work of the teachers’ who work in public schools with regards to several variables. In the study 985 teachers’ views, who work in 2014-2015 education year in Malatya are chosen from different schools and branches by random sampling method are utilized. “Passion For Work”scale is developed by Schaufeli, Salanova, Gonzalez-Roma and Bakker (2002) and adopted to Turkish by Turgut(2011) is used as data collection tool. In result of analyzing data perceived, it is determined that all included opinions extent of teachers’ passion for work scale which is high-level. It is seen that concentration is one of extent of passion for work scale changes meaningfully according to sex and mistress’ concentration score is higher than masters’. Also it is found that there is a meaningful relation among groups of professional seniority worrying of extent of passion for work. When relation of extent of passion for work is analysed, it is another important result that all extents are related to each other.
