Abstract

The number of studies which are about the syntax of Turkish dialects have been constantly increasing. Comparative studies about syntax principles have been giving information about the structure of language and changes in languages. Syntax word groups, sentence and parts of sentence have been analysed under the title of types of sentences. A sentence is the serial of words that explain a feeling, an action and an happening by pointing out a judgement. A sentence is constituted with words and word groups. In this study, the part of sentence will be analysed under the titles of "subject, predicate, object, indirect object, adverb and items outside of sentence". In Bashkir Turkish, the part of sentence under the title “simple sentence” (yabay hǚyläm) are subject, “ĭyä”, predicate “xäbär”, determinant “anıqlawsı”, object “tultırıwsı”, adverb “xäl”, appositive ǚs̱tӓlmӓlĭk”, items outside of sentence “hǚylӓmdĭŋ modal kis̱ӓktӓrĭ”. In this study, Turkey Turkish and Bashkir Turkish which have a common origin but now belonging to different branches of Turkish (Oğuz: South- West and Kıpçak: North- West) have been compared. In this study, sentence classification Muharrem Ergin and Leyla Karahan which was accepted in Turkey Turkish have been used. To reveal the approaches of both dialects in grammer and sentences, will help us to formulate ideas in the subject matter. Only differences will be mentioned in the comparisons.
