Abstract

In this study, the relationship between export, human capital and economic growth is investigated in G20 countries for Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Japan, South Korea and Turkey for the period 1995-2013, using panel cointegration test and panel causality analysis. The causal relationship between variables is analyzed by Emirmahmutoglu and Köse (2011) and Dumitrescu and Hurlin (2012) causality tests. According to panel cointegration test it is obtained that there is long run cointegration among the variables. Emirmahmutoğlu and Köse (2011) and Dumitrescu and Hurlin (2012) causality test results show that there is bi-directional causality relationship between economic growth and export. It is found that there is bi-directional causality between economic growth and health expenditure, too. The result of this study supports that feed-back hypothesis is valid for these countries. Furthermore, the increase of health expenditure leds to economic growth and increase in level of income boo
