Abstract

The political relations in XV and XVI. Centuries between the Timurids, Ottomans and Uzbeks are needed to be examined in two separate era. First Era; constitutes from the time of Timur to Ebu Said Mirza. Timur and Şahruh, the two remarkable sultans of that era, had kept eyes on the Ottoman territories. Their aim was to control the straits and invate Syria. The poitical reasons, however, refrained them. The Ottoman rulers of the era, Çelebi Mehmed and Murad II had mild relations with Şahruh to avoid a possible second defeat. Second Era; starts with Hüseyin Baykara. The Timurids-Ottoman relations had taken place on a different plane. What experienced was at the era being was declining power of the Timurids and rising power of the Ottomans concomitantly. Akkoyunlu(dynasty) State and Safevids later, strengthened their positions parallel to the Ottomans. The Ottoman-Uzbek relations were in friendly ambiance in the following centuries due to common toes.
