A RESEARCH USING WILLINGNESS TO PAY METHOD TO EVALUATE ECONOMIC VALUE OF URFA CASTLE URFA KALE’SİNİN ÖDEME İSTEKLİLİĞİ YÖNTEMİ KULLANILARAK EKONOMİK DEĞERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA
This study conducted in order to determine willingness to pay for the entrance fee of foreign tourists who visit the region of Urfa Castle. LIMDEP econometric program package is used for the data analysis. During this analysis, the probit and 2SLS models were used in this study dealt with the independent variables were described within the dependent variables were explained by the coefficients in order to explain what kind of relationship exist in willingness to pay. As independent variables the socio-demographic and economic parameters were used. In addition, in order to estimate the parameters Maximum Likelihood method was used. In this study, in the form of the survey question type created according to the nature of the additional ordinary Two-Stage Least Square method was preferred. As a result, the amount of willingness to pay an entrance fee for visitors Urfa Castle, was found to be an average of $21,5.
