Contrary to Interrogative sentences, it’s hard to find specific studies taking up rhetorical questions as formulaic expressions in linguistics researches as a subject. Consequently, there appears to be a confusion in the differentiation of the rhetorical questions as formulaic expressions from other Interrogative sentences. Considering the theory of speech acts the rhetorical questions as formulaic expressions, which are used by people in suitable place and moment, are very important during communication.
