Abstract
Çalışmamızda “Ulusal Basın Ekseninde 1960-1962 Yılları Cumhuriyet Bayramı Törenleri” adlı konu ele alınmıştır. 29 Ekim 1923 tarihi itibariyle Cumhuriyetimizin ilan edilmesinin ardından 1924’de kutlamalar yapılmaya başlanmış; resmi olarak ise 19 Nisan 1925 tarihinde TBMM’de yapılan görüşmeler sonrası resmiyet kazanmıştır. Bu törenler hakkında, başta Başbakanlık Cumhuriyet arşivi ve süreli basın olmak üzere detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra; araştırma eserler, ansiklopediler ve tezlerden de faydalanılmaya çalışılmıştır. Cumhuriyet bayramı için düzenlenecek törenler hakkında, bir gün öncesi ulusal basında neler yer aldığı geniş yer verilerek hazırlıklar dile getirilmiştir. Başbakanlık Cumhuriyet arşivi belgeleri ışığında, 29 Ekim törenlerindeki resmi geçit merasimleri kronolojik bir biçimde incelenmiştir. 29 Ekim Cumhuriyet Bayramı Töreni öncesi ülkenin dört bir yanında şehirler bayraklar ile süslenmiş ve ışıklandırmalarla renklendirilmiştir. Tören sonrası devletin önde gelen isimleri konuşmalar yapmıştır. Çalışmamızda yapılan bu konuşmalar farklı 12 gazete ile geniş bir açıdan ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Gazetelerde yer alan önemli isimlerin Cumhuriyet bayramı hakkındaki ifadelerine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda 29 Ekim Cumhuriyet Bayramı Törenleri, ülkenin birlik ve beraberliğinde önemli yer edindiği ve Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’e olan sevgi, saygı ve bağlılığın birer göstergesi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu sevgi, saygı ve bağlılık her yıl artarak devam etmiş, tüm ulusal basın Cumhuriyet bayramını coşku ile kutlamış ve geniş bir şekilde yer vermiştir.

Abstract
In our study, the subject named "Republic Day Ceremonies between 1960-1962 in the Axis of the National Press" has been discussed. After the proclamation of our Republic on October 29, 1923, celebrations began in 1924; it became official after the negotiations held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on April 19, 1925. About these ceremonies, especially the Prime Ministry Republic archives and periodicals have been examined in detail. And also; It has also been tried to benefit from research works, encyclopedias and theses. The preparations for the ceremonies to be held for the Republic Day were expressed by giving wide coverage in the national press the day before. In the light of the Prime Ministry Republic archive documents, the official parade ceremonies on October 29 were examined in a chronological manner. Before the October 29 Republic Day Ceremony, cities all over the country were decorated with flags and colored with lights. After the ceremony, the leading figures of the state made speeches. In our study, these speeches were tried to be handled from a broad perspective with 12 different newspapers. Statements of important names in the newspapers about the Republic Day are given. As a result of the study, it has been concluded that the October 29 Republic Day Ceremonies have an important place in the unity and solidarity of the country and are an indicator of the love, respect and devotion to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. This love, respect and devotion continued to increase every year, and all the national press celebrated the Republic Day with enthusiasm and gave wide coverage.
