Abstract
“Evde kalan baba”, ailede çocuk ve ev bakımının birincil olarak evin babası tarafından yürütülmesiyle ilgili bir tanımdır. Ebeveyn davranışlarını şekillendiren toplumsal cinsiyet ideolojisi, annelerin hala daha fazla günlük bakım faaliyetinden sorumlu olmasına rağmen, önemli değişimler geçirmiştir. Artık babalar, çocuklarına bakmak ve eşlerinin kariyerlerine destek olmak amacıyla evde kalmayı tercih edebilmektedir. Çizgi animasyonlar, toplumsal rollerin yerleşmesi, pekiştirilmesi ve yeniden üretilmesinde özellikle küçük çocuklar üzerinde oldukça etkilidir. Bu çalışmada Disney / Pixar yapımı Incredibles 2 (İnanılmaz Aile 2, Brad Bird, 2018) animasyon filminde evde kalan baba temsili, feminist bir analiz aracılığıyla ve toplumsal cinsiyet rollerinin değişebilirliği ön görülerek incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma için nitel içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmış, incelenen animasyon filminde sunulan ebeveyn temsilleri ve özellikle evde kalan baba tasvirinin, kadının güçlendirilmesi açısından taşıdığı anlam irdelenmiştir. Incredibles 2, evde kalan baba temsili açısından, şu ana kadar Disney süper kahraman animasyon filmleri arasında tektir. Klasik cinsiyetçi kalıplara meydan okuyan yönleri açısından ümit vericidir.

Abstract
The primary care of children and housework in the family by the father is called the “stay-at-home dad”. The gender ideology that shapes parental behavior has undergone significant changes, although mothers are still responsible for more daycare activities. Now fathers can choose to stay at home to take care of their children and support the careers of wifes. Cartoon animations are very effective especially on young children in establishing, reinforcing and reproducing social roles. In this study, the representation of the stay-at-home dad in the Disney / Pixar animated movie Incredibles 2 (Brad Bird, 2018) was examined through a feminist analysis and by predicting the changeability of gender roles. Qualitative content analysis method was used for this study, and the meaning of the parent representations and especially the depiction of the stay-at-home father in the animation film examined in terms of empowering women. Incredibles 2 is the only Disney superhero animated film to date in terms of stay-at-home dad representation. It is promising in terms of challenging classical sexist stereotypes.
