Abstract
Küreselleşme ve hızlı kentleşme beraberinde estetik ve çevresel problemleri gündeme getirmektedir. Tüm bu problemlerin en aza indirgenmesinde etkin bir rol oynayan kent parkları, sahip olduğu pek çok özellik ile çeşitli gereksinimlere cevap vermesi bakımından kentli için sadece sosyal aktivitelere imkân sağlayan açık alanlar olmakla kalmayıp kentin ekolojik sürdürülebilirliğine katkı sağlayan kamusal alanlardır. Kentliye sosyalleşebileceği alanlar sunan parklar çoğunlukla kent merkezinde veya kent merkezi çevresinde konumlanmakta, kentlilerin doğa ile ilişki içerisinde olacak şekilde kurgulanmış, içinde çeşitli etkinliklere imkân tanımaktadır. Çalışmada Trabzon’da bulunan parklar araştırılmış, anket çalışması uygulanmış ve yapılan analizler sonucu kent içerisindeki parklar arasından en fazla bilinen ve ziyaret edilen parklar ele alınarak yapının kent kimliği ile ilişkisine ve kent insanı üzerinde bıraktığı algılanmalarına yönelik değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda parkların kent kimliğine kazandırılmasının önemine dikkat çekerek buna yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

Abstract
Globalization and rapid urbanization bring along aesthetic and environmental problems. Urban parks, which play an active role in minimizing all these problems, are not only open spaces that allow social activities for the urbanites, but also public spaces that contribute to the ecological sustainability of the city in terms of meeting various needs with their many features. The parks, which offer areas where the urbanites can socialize, are mostly located in the city center or around the city center, they are designed to be in contact with nature and allow various activities in them. In the study, the parks in Trabzon were investigated, the survey study was applied, and as a result of the analysis, the most known and visited parks among the parks in the city were evaluated and evaluations were made regarding the relationship of the building with the urban identity and the perception that it left on the people of the city. At the end of the study, suggestions were made by drawing attention to the importance of integrating the parks into an urban identity.
