Abstract
Hemşirelik bakımının bilimsel problem çözümleme yöntemi ile harmanlanarak kullanılması hemşirelik sürecini güçlendirir. Hemşirenin en önemli sorumluluğu hemşirelik tanısını belirleme, günlük bakım sürecinin temelini oluşturur. Doğru hemşirelik tanısı, hemşirenin gözlem ve eleştirel düşüncesini bütünleştirerek sorunları doğru şekilde sınıflandırabilmesi ve problem çözme becerisine sahip olması ile konur. Aksi takdirde beklenen klinik akıl yürütmeyi gerçekleştiremeyen, güvenli bakım sağlama yeteneğinden yoksun hemşireler olacaktır. Problem çözme becerisinin bileşenleri, hemşirelik sürecinin aşamalarına benzer şekilde; problem ile karşılaşma, veri toplama, problemi belirleme, mümkün olan çözümleri oluşturma, uygun çözümü seçme, uygulama ve çözümü değerlendirme şeklinde ilerler. Tanılama sürecinde problemi açık ve net şekilde anlamak önemli bir başlangıçtır. Doğru bir başlangıç yapmak, veri toplama aşaması için önemlidir. Çözüm oluşturma aşaması, problem çözme süreci içinde en fazla zihinsel yetenek gerektiren aşamadır. Hemşirenin doğru karar verme becerisi, hasta bakım sonuçlarının geliştirilmesine ve profesyonel hemşirelik uygulamalarının geleceğine temel oluşturacaktır. Bu makale hemşirelik tanısını belirlemede problem çözme becerisinin etkisini tartışmak amacıyla ele alındı.

Abstract
The blending of nursing care with scientific problem solving method strengthens the nursing process. The most important responsibility of the nurse is to determine the nursing diagnosis and form the basis of the daily care process. The correct nursing diagnosis is made by integrating the observation and critical thinking of the nurse, being able to classify the problems correctly and having problem solving skills. Otherwise, there will be nurses who cannot perform the expected clinical reasoning and lack the ability to provide safe care. Components of problem solving skills, similar to the stages of the nursing process; It progresses in the form of encountering the problem, collecting data, determining the problem, creating possible solutions, choosing the appropriate solution, applying and evaluating the solution. A clear understanding of the problem is an important start in the diagnostic process. Getting started right is important for the data collection phase. Solution creation stage is the stage that requires the most mental ability in the problem solving process. The nurses' ability to make the right decisions will form the basis for the improvement of patient care results and the future of professional nursing practices. This article is discussed to discuss the effect of problem solving skills in determining the nursing diagnosis.
