Abstract
Antik Yunan dönemi, bilimsel düşünce ve evrenin matematiksel düzenini anlama arayışının temellerini oluşturduğu için büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Bu dönemde eğitim sisteminin altyapısını Trivium ve Quadrivium olarak bilinen Yedi Liberal Sanat (Septem Artes Liberales) oluşturmaktadır. Trivium mantık, retorik ve grameri, Quadrivium ise aritmetik, geometri, astronomi ve müzik bilimlerini içermektedir. Dönemin düşünce yapısını şekillendiren Quadrivium sisteminin felsefesi, dönemin mimari yapılarından biri olan tiyatro mekanlarının tasarımına yansımıştır. Antik Yunan-Roma tiyatroları, matematiksel prensiplere dayalı mimari yapılardır. Aynı zamanda bu yapılar, Antik Yunan dönemine ait felsefi birikimlerin somut birer yansımasıdır. Bu çalışma, Antik Yunan felsefesine ait matematik temelli Quadrivium bilim dalları ile Antik Yunan-Roma tiyatro yapılarının akustik özellikleri üzerindeki etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda doküman analizi yöntemiyle literatür taraması yapılmış ve elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
The Ancient Greek period is of great importance as it forms the foundations of scientific thought and the search for understanding the mathematical order of the universe. The infrastructure of the education system in this period is formed by the Seven Liberal Arts (Septem Artes Liberales), known as Trivium and Quadrivium. Trivium includes logic, rhetoric, and grammar; Quadrivium includes the sciences of arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music. The philosophy of the Quadrivium system, which shaped the thought structure of the period, was reflected in the design of theater spaces, one of the architectural structures of the period. Ancient Greek-Roman theaters are architectural structures based on mathematical principles. At the same time, these structures are concrete reflections of the philosophical accumulations of the Ancient Greek period. This study aims to examine the effects of the mathematically based Quadrivium science branches of Ancient Greek philosophy on the acoustic properties of Ancient Greek-Roman theater structures. For this purpose, a literature review was conducted using document analysis and the obtained data was evaluated.
