Abstract
Grafik sanatlarda yazı materyalinin “tasarlanmış bir içerikle birlikte ele alınması” tipografik unsurları meydana getiren en önemli kuraldır. Bu kural doğrultusunda tasarımcıdan asıl beklenen şey; tipografik unsurların “daha yaratıcı” bir biçimde ele alınmasıdır. Yazı materyali tipografik oluşumlar aracılıyla “daha etkili bir görsel tasarıma dönüşemiyorsa” orada, herhangi bir grafik tasarım kimliğinden bahsedilemez. Bu makalede, yazı ve tipografi arasında dönüşen unsurların hangi standartlarda bir tasarım kimliği yaratabileceği üzerinde durularak, tipografinin daha özgün ve yaratıcı bir biçimde nasıl kullanılabileceği, çeşitli örnekler eşliğinde açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. İncelenen örneklerde görüldüğü gibi, yazı materyalinin olabilecek en farklı biçimlerde uygulanması, grafik tasarım kültürünün malzeme ve teknik bakımından daha fazla zenginleşmesine katkı sağlamıştır.

Abstract
In graphic arts, “approaching the writing material together with a designed content is the most important rule that creates the typographic elements. What is actually expected from the designer in the direction of this rule is to handle the typographic elements in a more creative way. There is no mention of any graphic design identification there if the writing material can not turn into a more effective visual design through typographic formations. In this article, it was attempted to explain how to use typography in a more original and creative way by explaining the standards, which can be used to create a design identity in terms of the elements that change between writing and typography. As seen in the reviewed examples, the application of the writing material in the most different forms possible contributed to the enrichment of the graphic design culture in terms of material and technique.
