Abstract
Değişik anlamlar ifade etmek için veya vurgulanmak istenen durumu daha belirgin hale getirmek için cümle içerisinde bulunan kelimelerin yerleri değiştirilebilir. Her dilde olduğu gibi Arap dilinde de cümle içerisinde yapılan bu değişikliğe takdim veya te’hir adı verilir. Takdim, normal cümle düzeninde sonra gelmesi gereken bir öğeyi öne almak; te’hir ise önce gelmesi gereken bir öğeyi sonraya bırakmaktır. Dile geniş bir hareket imkânı tanıyan ve anlama yönelik önemli açılımlar getiren takdim-te’hirli kullanımlar üzerinde ilk dönemden itibaren genişçe durulmuştur. Arap dili alanında kaleme alınan ilk teliflerde, dil ilimleri bugünkü şekliyle tasnif edilmediği için, sarf-nahiv ve belâgat konuları iç içeydi. Birçok âlimin bu konuda kendine has yorumları ve istişhad (delil getirme) yöntemleri vardır. Takdim-te’hirli kullanımlara ilk dikkat çeken ve edebi incelikleri üzerinde ilk yorumları yapanın Sîbeveyh olduğunu söylemek mümkündür

Abstract
Words in the sentence can be changed to express different meanings or to make the situation to be emphasized more specific. As in every language, this change in the Arabic sentence is called presentation or te'hîr.Presentations (Takdim) is getting an item before that must be come later in normal sentence order; postponement is to getting an item later that must be come before. It has been broadly discussed from the first period on the use of presentations, which give a wide range of movement to the language. In the first writings received in the field of Arabic language, the subjects of sarf-nahiv and belâgat were indoors because the language sciences are not classified as it is today. Many scholars have their own interpretations and methods of bringing in evidence. It is possible to say that Sîbeveyh was the first to draw attention to the presantation and postponement uses and to make the first comments on their literary subtleties.
