Abstract
Araştırmanın temel amacı, turizmin istihdam üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde elde edilen verilere karşılaştırmalı analiz yapılarak, çeşitli sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. WTTC (Dünya Seyahat ve Turizm Konseyi) verilerine göre, Türkiye’de turizm sektörünün doğrudan istihdam rakamları incelenen dönemde %111,8 oranında artarak, 283 bin kişiden 600 bin kişiye ulaşmıştır. Ayrıca toplam turizm istihdamının da 1 milyon 244 bin kişiden 2 milyon 192 bin kişiye yükseldiği tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla Türkiye'de toplam istihdamın yaklaşık %8,3’ünün turizm sektöründe istihdam edildiği ortaya konmuş, son 15 yılda turizm sektöründe istihdam edilen kişilerin sayısının arttığı saptanmıştır.

Abstract
The main goal of this study is to define the tourism’s affects on deploy. It is reached some results consisting of analysing datas with each results. As WTTC’s (World Travel and Tourism Council) datas, the rate of deploy of Turkey in Tourism has increased in the rate of % 111,8 so it has been reached from 283.000 to 600.000. It is defined that total tourism deploy increased from 1 million 244 thousand people to 2 million and 1 hundred 92 thousand people, so it is defined that total deploy of the country is in the tourism sector by %8,3 rate. The number of the people who is deployed in tourism has been increased in 15 years.
