Abstract
Günümüzün dijital teknolojileri, yaygın olarak kullanılan eğitim ve öğretim metotlarını da değiştirmiş, eğitim maliyetlerini düşürmüş, eğitimden yararlanma sürecine kolaylıklar getirmiştir. Yeni teknoloji yazılımları web tabanlı eğitim sistemlerinin gelişimini ve yaygınlaşmasını hızlandırmıştır. Süreç; uzaktan eğitim yazılımlarının önemini belirginleştirdiği için, bu tür yazılımları ivedi geliştirilmesi gereken eğitim programlarından biri haline getirmiştir. Söz konusu programlar üniversite eğitimine de farklı bir yaklaşım getirmiş, öğrencilerin eğitim müfredatlarını takip etmesine kolaylıklar sağlamıştır. Öğrencilerin eğitime istedikleri yerde ve zamanda katılmalarını olanaklı hale getirdiğinden, tercih edilir hale gelmiştir. Bu eğitimin alt yapısını oluşturan Internet erişiminin ucuz, hızlı ve yaygın olması, derslerin web üzerinden takip edilmesi olanaklarını yaygınlaştırmış, hem öğrencilere hem de eğitim yönetimine kolaylıklar sağlamıştır. Web tabanlı eğitim yazılımları, eğitim programındaki öğrencilerin kayıtlarının yapılmasından, diplomalarının verilmesine kadar bütün aşamalarda görev alan, kullanıcıların sistemi güvenli ve etkin bir şekilde kullanmalarını sağlarken, kullanıcılar arasında etkileşimli ya da etkileşimsiz iletişimi sağlamak üzere çeşitli internet araçlarından da faydalanmaya olanak sağlayan yazılımlardır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı; bu alana kolaylık sağlayan ve önerilen WTUZEM yazılımını tanıtmaktır. Bu yazılımının amacı, öğrencilere, öğretim üyelerine ve eğitim yöneticilerine web tabanlı uzaktan eğitimde katkı sağlamaktır.

Abstract
Digital Technologies of today have changed educational and teaching methods used commonly, decreased education costs, provided convenience to the process of making use of education. New technological softwares accelerated development and propagation of web-based education systems. Since the process made the importance of distance education softwares distinctive, such kind of softwares became educational programs that should be improved instantly. Mentioned programs brought different approach to university education as well, provided convenience for students to follow up the educational curriculum. They have become preferable since they enable students involve in education whenever and wherever they want. Since Internet access which forms the infrastructure of this education is cheap, fast and widespread, it made the opportunity of following courses through internet more common, provided convenience both for students and education management. Web-based educational softwares are softwares which take on the duty in all processes from taking registration of students in education programs to handing out their diplomas, enable secure and effective use of system, provide opportunity of making use of various internet means in order to enable interactive or non-interactive communication among users. The basic aim of this study is to introduce WTUZEM software which is suggested and which provides convenience to this field. The aim of this software is to make contribution to students, academic personnel and education managers in web-based distance education.
