Abstract
Öğrenciler eğitim hayatları sırasında çeşitli risklere maruz kalabilmektedir. Bu riskler kaza veya hastalık, psikolojik rahatsızlıklar şeklinde ortaya çıkabilmektedir.. Öğrenciler kaza riskinin yanısıra eğitim hayatları boyunca psikolojik risklere de maruz kalabilmektedir. Bu riskler öğrencilerin depresyon, ankisiyete bozuklukları gibi çeşitli rahatsızlıkların oluşmasına yol açmaktadır. Sosyal güvenlik sistemleri vasıtasıyla öğrencilerin korunması öğrencilerin yaşadıkları kazalar sonucu tedavi, rehabilitasyon ve gelir kaybını önlemesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu konu hakkında ulusal literatürde yeterince çalışma olmadığı için literatür taraması için genellikle yabancı kaynaklar tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma Türkiye’de eğitim faaliyetlerine ilişkin temel kavramlar, sosyal güvenlik felsefesi, okul kazaları, Türkiye’de öğrencilerin sigortalılığının incelenmesinden oluşmaktadır. Türkiye’deki okul kazaları gazete haberleri yoluyla değerlendirilmiştir çünkü Türkiye’de okul kazalarına ilişkin istatistiki bilgiler bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de okul kazalarına dikkati çekerek bu konuda önlemlerin alınmasını sağlayarak öğrencilerin sigorta sistemine dahil edilmesidir. Bu sayede öğrencilerin eğitim gördükleri okullarda güvenlik önlemlerinin geliştirilmesi sağlanacak ve kazaların önüne geçilebilerek gelecek kuşakların daha sağlıklı ortamlarda eğitim almasına zemin hazırlanacaktır.

Abstract
Students can be exposed to various risks over the course of their education. These risks might take the shape of accidents, illnesses or psychological disorders. Besides accident risks, students can also be exposed to psychological risks throughout their studies. These risks cause students to develop various illnesses such as depression and anxiety disorders. Protection of students through social security systems holds great importance in terms of treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of loss of income following accidents. Foreign sources have been preferred for literature reviews since there are not enough studies in national literature on this subject. The study consists of the examination of basic concepts about educational activities in Turkey, philosophy of social security, school accidents and the insurance of students in Turkey. School accidents in Turkey have been evaluated via newspaper articles since there are no statistical data on the subject. The objective of this study is to make it possible for students to be included in the insurance system and having precautions taken on the matter by calling attention to school accidents in Turkey. By this means, it will be possible for security measures to be improved in schools; and by preventing accidents, the ground will be prepared for the next generations to receive education in healthier environments.
