Abstract
Okul öncesi eğitim etkinliklerinin gerçekleştirildiği sınıflar çocukların gelişim alanlarını desteklemeye yönelik merkezler olarak düzenlenmektedir. Okul öncesi eğitim programına göre sınıflarda oluşturulacak olan merkezlerin sayısı sınıf büyüklüğüne göre belirlenir. Sınıfta olması için öncelik verilen merkezler içerisinde fen, sanat, blok gibi merkezler yer almaktadır. Bu merkezlerin yanı sıra çocukların ilgi ve merakları doğrultusunda ilgi merkezleri de oluşturulabilmektedir. Bu kapsamda çocukların kültürel gelişimlerine destek vermek amacıyla 12 sınıfı bulunan bir anaokulunda sınıfların içerisinde kültür merkezleri oluşturulmuş, merkezin içerisinde kültürel malzemeler yerleştirilmiştir. Gerçekleştirilen bu uygulamanın çocuklar üzerinde etkisini görebilmek amacıyla nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden gözlem ve görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Abstract
Classrooms that hold the preschool education activities arranged as centers supporting children’s development areas. The number of centers that will be created in preschool education program based classrooms will be according to the size of the classroom. Centers that have the priority to have a place in a classroom includes centers such as science, art, and blocks. Besides these centers, interest centers can also be created in the line of children’s interests and wonders. In this context, culture centers, which includes cultural materials, were created in classrooms at a kindergarten that has 12 classrooms for the purpose of supporting children’s cultural development. Observation and interview methods of qualitative research methods were used for the purpose of seeing this effectuated practice’s effects on children.
