Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, bir eğitim örgütünde “Sosyal Sermaye Geliştirme Programı” nın (SSGP) etkilerini araştırmaktır. Araştırma yarı deneysel bir desen ve açımlayıcı bir çalışma olarak alanda öncü olması yönüyle önemlidir. Eylem araştırması ve nicel boyutuna ilişkin bulguların sunulduğu bu makalede 12 hafta süren bir etkinlik programına uygulama öncesi ve sonrası ölçümlerle sosyal sermaye düzeyinde anlamlı bir fark oluşup oluşmadığını ortaya koymak amacıyla nicel boyutu ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2015 – 2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Gaziantep ili Şehitkâmil ilçesinde faaliyet gösteren bir okulda çalışan 14 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın bulguları, özellikle, ön ve son test ölçümlerinin karşılaştırılması ve analizi ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda, SSGP katılımcılarının örgütsel bağlılık, iletişim ve sosyal etkileşim, güven, işbirliği-sosyal ağlar ve katılım boyutlarında gelişme gösterdikleri gözlenmiştir. Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect(s) of a “Social Capital Enhancement Program” (SCEP) in an educational organization. The study was designed as an exploratory action research and employed mixed methodology. In this particular paper, the quantitative findings of the study will be presented and discussed. The study group consisted of 14 teachers in a school in Greater Gaziantep Province, Şehitkâmil district where the SCEP has been applied for 12 weeks, during the academic year 2015-2016. Findings of the study were, mainly, obtained via comparison and analysis of the pre and post-test measurements. Results indicated that SCEP has produced favorable results in that participants seemed to have made progress in organizational commitment, communication and social interaction, confidence, and willingness to cooperate with social networks.
