Abstract
II. Sargon’un sekizinci saltanat yılında (M.Ö. 714) Batı İran ve Urartu Krallığı üzerine düzenlediği askeri sefer “Sargon’un sekizinci seferi” olarak ünlenmiştir. “Tanrıların babası Assur”a bir mektup olarak yazılan bu kayıtlar sadece askeri sefer hakkında değil, Batı İran ve Urartu ülkesi hakkında da birçok önemli bilgi vermektedir. Sargon’un bu seferi belki de verdiği oldukça detaylı bilgilerden dolayı birçok araştırman tarafından ele alınmış ve gidilen güzergâhlar ile ilgili farklı öneriler yapılmıştır. Biz de araştırma konumuz kapsamında tarihi coğrafyaya kattığı önemi üzerinde duracağız. Ancak tezimiz sırasında çalışmayı yürütürken en çok sıkıntısını çektiğimiz konulardan biri yapılan bu önerilerin bir harita üzerinde gösterilmeyişiydi. Tezimiz sırasında yaptığımız haritaların konu ile ilgili çalışanlar için kısmen de olsa kolaylık sağlamasını umduğumuz için böyle bir makale yazma isteğimiz oldu. Abstract
It’s famous for “Sargon, the eighth campaign” as in the eighth year of the reign of the II. Sargon (BC. 714) who organized on a military campaign to western Iran and the Kingdom of Urartu. As a letter to the records of this post to “God is the father of the Assyrian” only it's not about a military campaign it provides on many important information about in western Iran and also Urartu. This campaign of Sargon perhaps because of his highly detailed information discussed by many researchers and get different suggestions were made regarding the routes. We will focus on the importance of historical geography as part of our research. During our thesis attracted the most trouble with one of the subjects of this proposal was to be shown on a map.
