Abstract
Bu makalede viyolonsel repertuvarında çok önemli bir yere sahip ve aynı zamanda virtuoz bir viyolonselci olan Luigi Boccherini’nin hayatı, eserleri, viyolonsel repertuvarına ve teknik gelişimine sağladığı büyük katkılara yer verilecektir. Viyolonsel icracıları için oldukça önemli bir yere sahip olan Boccherini, İtalya’nın Lucca şehrinde doğmuş ve küçük yaşta yeteneği fark edilmiştir. Oğlunun yeteneğini erken yaşta farkeden babası tarafında daha iyi bir eğitim almak için İtalya’nın önemli müzik merkezlerine ve daha sonra da İspanya’ya gönderilmiş ve dönemin önemli müzisyen ve sanatçıları ile çalışma fırsatı yakalamıştır. Bestecinin çok fazla sayıda eseri vardır. Besteci, viyolonsel tekniğine de çok önemli katkılarda bulunmuş ve viyolonsel icracılığında devrim olarak nitelendirilebilecek yenilikler getirmiştir. O’ndan sonra enstrüman, orkestradaki konumundan kurtulup solo bir enstrüman olarak da kimlik kazanmaya başlamıştır. Viyolonsel için yazmış olduğu sonat ve konçertolar, viyolonsel repertuvarında oldukça önemli eserler olup konservatuvar eğitimi veren müzik okullarında sıklıkla seslendirilmektedir.

In this article, the life and works of Luıgı Boccherini, who has a very important place in the cello repertoire and who is also a virtuoso cellist, will be included in her great contributions to the cello repertoire and technical development. Boccherini, who has a very important place for cello players, was born in Lucca, Italy and her talent was noticed at a young age. By his father, who noticed his son's talent at an early age, he was sent to important music centers in Italy and later to Spain to receive a better education and had theopportunity to work with important musicians and artists of the period. The composer has a large number of works. The composer made very important contributions to the cello technique and brought innovations that can be described as a revolution in cello performance. After that, the instrument got rid of its position in the orchestra and started to gain an identity as a solo instrument. Sonatas and concertos he wrote for the cello are very important works in the cello repertoire and are frequently performed in music schools that provide conservatory education.
