Abstract

Abstract

Recently, an extraordinary pandemic has been experienced around the world and this process brings about differentiations in business life and therefore in the context of management. In this framework, it is aimed to determine the perceptions of energy sector employees regarding the effect of remote work on work motivation in terms of personality in terms of gender during the pandemic process. The questionnaire form prepared for the research was applied face-to-face and via e-mail to a business employee (49 women and 61 men) operating internationally in 13 countries on three continents in the energy sector between March 2020 and June 2020. As a result of the study, it was stated that within the scope of remote work during the pandemic process, it has a high level of influence on job motivation "self-personality, social-relational personality, managerial processes, strategic dimension and awareness". In the pandemic comprehensive remote work process, it was determined that the personality (sma: managerial processes, strategic dimension and awareness) significantly affects both women and men. In this process, women attach more importance to self-personality, social-relational personality, managerial processes and awareness factors than men. Among the women, those with type B personality attach less importance to the factors of social-relational personality and strategic dimens than women with A and mixed personality. Correlations between the factors appeared to be positive and at high, medium and low levels.
