Abstract
تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على أهمية الألعاب اللغوية واستخدامها في تعليم المفردات في اللغات عموما، وفي تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها خصوصا في محاولة لمعرفة خصائص اللعبة الجيدة، والمشاكل التي تعترض المتعلمين في تعليم المفردات، وكذلك المعلمين في تطبيق اللعبة. فعند تعليم المفردات نحتاج إلى فترة زمنية طويلة لكن باللعب يمكن تعليمها في فترة زمنية قصيرة. الهدف هنا هو عرض أهمية الألعاب اللغوية في تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها وما تقوم به من زيادة عدد المفردات لدى الطلبة. تم الاستفادة من المنهج الوصفي لجمع المعلومات عن اللعب وعرض نماذج للألعاب التي تساعد في زيادة تحصيل المفردات لدى الطلاب.

Abstract
This study seeks to identify the importance of language games and their use in vocabulary education in language teaching in general, and in teaching Arabic to non Arabic speakers. This is especially in an attempt to learn the characte-ristics of the beneficial games, and the problems that learners encounter in vo-cabulary education, as well as teachers in the application of the game. When teaching vocabulary, teachers require a long period of time and more efforts, but by playing it can be taught in a shorter period of time. The aim here is to show the importance of language games in teaching Arabic to non-native spe-akers and it’s significant effect to enrich the learners’ vocabulary. The desc-riptive method was used to collect information about playing a game for teac-hing purposes and to show samples of games that help improve vocabulary among students.
